Products - Ambrotose
I feel
that when we are told we have a disease we should get a second
opinion. We find we have so many questions in our head and
I don't feel one doctor can answer all of them.
I believe
in not only a Conventional way to treat a disease but an Holistic
way as well. I believe we should get the answers from both
sides. Once we have gathered that information we can then
make a decision on what is the best fit for us. We may then
work with both doctors so that the supplements do not take
away from the treatments. We need to be smart about how we
put the Holistic and Conventional treatments together. We
need to work with our doctors. I am a believer in building
up your immune systems always but especially when we are diagnosed
with a disease.
I decided
to go to a Holistic Cancer Specialist in New York when I found
out I had Breast Cancer. I took one supplement he gave me
out of many and believed in it. I take it to this day. I feel
it has made that much of a change in my life and in how I
experienced my treatments and recovery.
I am sharing
some links so that you may understand more about the Mannatech
products. If you have more questions about my experience with
Ambrotose, I would be glad to share. I also have information
I may fax to you as well. I
was pleased to see that the same supplement that works for
me is also working for animals. I'm hopeful for many healthy
years to come for both Bailey and me.

Lyme
Disease - Dr. Bernard D. Raxlen
Lyme Disease
was my first introduction to a chronic illness. I was in my
late thirties with three small children. I had not been feeling
well for quite some time and was spiraling downward quickly.
I remember lying on a lawn chair on my patio one October afternoon
allowing the fall sun to embrace me. I felt as though I had
a cancer in my body that was completely taking over and no
one could tell me what it was. It was taking my energy, my
emotion and my soul. I was so afraid for my children and I
hated that they had to see their mother this way.
I had
a dear friend at that time that took one look at me and handed
me Dr. Raxlen's information. At that point I would have tried
anything to feel like Bruna once again. I made an appointment
and drove the hour drive to meet with Dr. Raxlen. He was able
to get me on my feet but the stress in my life at that time
kept allowing the Lyme disease to kick in often.
Dr. Raxlen
sat me down at one of our visits and told me I would need
a pick line to get me over the hump. He wasn't quite sure
if it was too late for this as I had not allowed it to happen
each time he had suggested it. This day he looked at me and
said, "If you do not do this I will not treat you. You
will have to find yourself another doctor." I trusted
Dr. Raxlen with my life and made the appointment for the pick
line that day.
There
are not many doctors in this world like Dr. Raxlen -- his
background, his knowledge of this Lyme Disease and how he
treats this disease.
I believe
he has saved my life. From the day I stepped into Dr. Raxlen's
office we have been making sure my immune system is strong
enough to fight Lyme Disease and any setbacks I may experience
in my life. I am one of the lucky ones that only needed the
pick line once and for only six weeks.
Dr. Raxlen
was the one I ran to when I was told I had Breast Cancer.
He immediately started my Vitamin C intravenous drips and
supplements to build my immune system. We needed my immune
system to be able to handle the radiation treatments and be
able to fight a relapse with Lyme Disease.
When looking
back upon my patient relationship with Dr. Raxlen -- not only
did he treat my Lyme Disease so that I would not experience
relapses as seriously as before but he kept my immune system
strong. With Vitamin C intravenous drips, supplements and
teaching me how to eat and keep fit, I believe I had a fighting
chance to battle the effects of the treatments of Breast Cancer
and the Lyme Disease relapse that followed the treatments.

The day
I was called and heard the words "you have Breast Cancer"
I quickly thought about what I wanted in my life that I have
not allowed to be part of my life. I had to put our black
lab, Coco, to rest seven years ago. Prior to that I had to
put down my golden, Roscoe. I swore I could not go through
that grief ever again.
Obviously,
there was a hole in my heart left from this grief. When I
received the call telling me I had Breast Cancer I quickly
wanted to fill that hole. I was on a mission to find another
lab. This one would have to be a yellow lab. I couldn't do
another black as I felt we might compare the new dog to Coco.
I called Veterinarians, looked on the web for breeders, called
breeders and stopped by several of them to check the new litters.
Not one
yellow lab. I was about to give up when I decided to go on
the web for one last search... It was getting close to the
start of my radiation treatments and I was afraid I just wouldn't
find this lab any time soon. I noticed a breeder in Pa. and
I knew I wouldn't drive that far to get my pup. I had nothing
to lose by checking out the litters.
That face
---- Oh that face. There he was. He was the pick of the litter
and those eyes, oh those eyes. That's it!!!!!!!!!!! He's mine!!!!!!!!
I sent an e mail and called the breeder asking that they please
consider me. A week went by and I received the call I had
been waiting for. Donna, of Endless Mountain Labs, called
to do the "interview". She sent out a questionnaire
for me to fill out and later called back to tell me I would
be the proud owner of that little face she had on her web
site.
I
had a six and a half hour ride to and from Endless Mountain
Labs. Once Donna placed him in my arms and I carried him to
my car for the long ride back ------------
Bailey and I bonded instantly. Little did I know how much
Bailey would change my life. Bailey managed to get me through
the Cancer journey without me feeling like a cancer patient.
A year later he would bring attention to the life I was living.
The life that was not making me happy The life with stress
that had no business being in my life after my Breast Cancer..
I decided to focus on opening a Dog Day Spa and Retreat.
God knew
what he was doing when he introduced me to Endless Mountain
Labs.
Thanks to Bailey my life will never be the same.
