Bruna Verna was born in San Valentino, Italy. She was three years old when her family settled in Wallingford, Connecticut, where she resides today.

She has three wonderful children that are the center of her life. Bailey, her four legged friend, was made a member of the family just before her radiation treatments and has become her love.

Bruna created The Playground Skatepark back in the early 90's which has been one of her greatest achievements. She holds those few years she owned the park, where she met the most incredible "kids," very dear to her heart.

Bruna has been one of the "lucky ones" that was taught at a very early age what love is by her parents, Gerardo and Amelia Verna. She has been able to see the love in life because of their influence.

Since her breast cancer journey she is focused on helping women undergoing breast cancer treatments with supplements and nutrition.
